Our Promise:

Dr. Veen brings trusted expertise in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment helping patients restore balance and relieve pain for lasting wellness.

Physician-Led, Hands-On Care Rooted in Medical Diagnosis

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is a hands-on medical approach used by osteopathic physicians (DOs) to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal dysfunction, pain, and functional imbalance. OMT is grounded in a comprehensive medical evaluation and integrates seamlessly with primary care and overall health management.

At Dr. Veen Osteopathic & Primary Care, OMT is provided by a double board-certified family medicine physician with advanced osteopathic training. Each session is individualized, medically guided, and focused on restoring function—not simply addressing symptoms

Osteopathic Medical Therapy & Treatment

What Makes Our Care Different?

OMT at our office is not bodywork alone. It is:

  • Physician-directed care, guided by medical diagnosis

  • Integrated with your health history, prior imaging, and labs

  • Focused on function, movement, and long term outcomes

  • Combined with routine medical care for established patients or delivered in a dedicated, unrushed visit when done as a Focused OMT visit

Patients often seek focused OMT when they want time, clarity, and a thoughtful plan that goes beyond brief visits or isolated treatments.

Ways to Receive Osteopathic Care

Insurance-Covered

Integrated OMT Visit

When appropriate, OMT may be included as part of your primary care visit for chronic or acute conditions. When clinically appropriate and if times allows, Dr. Veen will educate on the treatments utility and perform gentle, hands-on techniques during your appointment.

  • OMT is included in your primary care visit and short in duration

  • Billed to your insurance

  • No extra appointment needed

  • Condition(s) must be appropriate for treatment at visit

Example: You come in for a sinus infection with facial pressure — Dr. Veen may perform sinus drainage techniques to aid in quicker infection resolution alongside a general medical assessment.

Focused OMT Visit

Cash-Pay Visits

These are stand-alone, problem-based OMT visits for patients who want dedicated hands-on care. Ideal for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, or recurring tension.

  • 100% dedicated to OMT, longer duration

  • Not billed to insurance — transparent cash pricing

  • Designed for patients who desire ongoing or focused hands-on care

  • Booked separately from medical visits

  • Do not need to be a patient of our practice but need to be established with a PCP
